A Cackling Goose was in with about 100 Canada's at Mt Loretto. The flock was on
the baseball fields behind the Chruch. Please be respectful that there is a
pre-school close by and the roads get busy around 3pm.

Photos of the bird are posted on

A late Hooded Warbler was in the garden behind the Conference House (literally
adjoining the house). It was actively picking grubs and worms from the ground.
A photo is posted on my flickr site too.

Also, 3 royal terns and 2 foster's terns were off the shore at Lemon Creek.
White-crowned sparrows were also mixed into flocks of white-throated sparrows at
WPP and CHP. Common loons were also on the move with 6 singles being seen, and
one flock of 11 flying by.
