Dear Countrymen,

Do you know how vulnerable our life has become with the growing misuse of dowry laws in India? Whether you are a man or a woman, married or un-married, or even a kid; any women related to you - be it your wife, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law - can send you behind bars by implicating a false dowry (IPC 498A) case against you and your entire family, including your old ailing parents and kids. All she has to do is to go to police station and file an FIR against all the innocent people of the family (without any proof) and police will arrest and sent the whole family to jail without investigation and verification of the charge. Therefore, you and your family have no protection from such false complaints by women.

Isn’t this law biased? This section is Non-bailable (you have to move to court to get bail, cannot get bail at police station), non-compoundable (once put against you, cannot be taken back at will) and cognizable (police can arrest without warrant). This has led to thousands of innocent families become helpless victims in the hands of women and biased laws and in many cases victims have committed suicide after such agonizing torture. Women force her husband and in-laws to accept her selfish demands like separate house, to transfer property in her name, wanting the in-laws to stay separately, to torture the whole family by incessant nagging and threatening etc.).
