You don’t have to be Jewish. . .to join the SIETAR Jewish Special Interest Group. Jews—however defined—and interested others are all welcome!
Jewish identity is fluid and indefinable, yet it is an important element in how we see ourselves and how others see us.
Let’s get together to explore how our Jewish identity (ies) affect our work as interculturalists and our interactions with clients, students, trainees and colleagues. How do the contexts in which we work interact with the ways in which we understand who we are as Jews? Have you had experiences as an interculturalist which particularly affected you as a Jew, or vice-versa? Are there issues involved in working with Jewish or non-Jewish colleagues that map out in different ways? Are there any burning issues coming up for you around these questions?
