So sorry I didn't respond earlier to your email. I just got the call from Joanne tonight about volunteering, and as I told her, I am unable to because my husband is working and I don't have childcare. As I have said before, this IS very important to me, but my family life sometimes leaves little room for those things that are important to me. Though I can't figure out how I would be able to volunteer for the race itself, I would be willing to provide childcare for others so they may volunteer. I could bring my children to Congress Park, or some other central location, and have a fun play group. I have lots of experience dealing with groups of children and have been through the child abuse registry. I am a certified social worker. Please let me know if I can help in that capacity.

Another reminder that this benefit run/walk is coming up, 8/16.
Since my last message, we have increased our # of volunteers, but we
are still falling short and need to get a confirmed list of at least
30 to the police dept. this Wednesday. Can you help out? Please
volunteer (or run)! Please also share widely.
Thanks and hope to see you there
