The Writer's Bloc group started in 2006 with a group of writing students from the Freelance Writing Summer Honors class at Taylor University. Since then, the group has expanded and has become more than just a place for discussion... The Writer's Bloc offers a quarterly newsletter, annual writing contest, writing opportunities, helpful tips, and connections to other Christian writers.

The purpose of this group is to share works written by members for comment and constructive criticism, as well as information and news relevant to the areas of writing and publication.
