This egroup facilitates communications among members of The South Four Corners
Citizen's Association (SFCCA) in Silver Spring, Maryland.
The boundaries of South Four Corners are University Boulevard, Colesville Road, The Capital Beltway, Sligo Creek Parkway, and Dennis Avenue.
Our community is strong for many reasons. By working together, we make it even stronger.
Please use this egroup website to freely exchange of information and opinion. Normally writers include their name and street name. Of course, Naturally, respect the views and opinions of your neighbors.
Ideas for types of messages, files, and links to post:
1) INVITATIONS to participate in neighborhood activities such as: the annual Community Day, the annual National Night Out, the SFCCA Welcoming Committee, the babysitting coop, neighborhood watch, block parties, community yard sales, improving neighborhood parks, getting "Welcome to South Four Corners" signs, ....!!!
2) QUESTIONS.
3) INFORMATION regarding government agencies or businesses. If possible, please provide contact names, email addresses, web addresses, and/or phone numbers. For example: "Here is who to contact to receive email alerts regarding holiday changes to the garbage pick-up schedule."
4) ALERTS about upcoming government decisions affecting our community and group efforts to do something about them. For example: "Here is how to contact the citizen group that fights against possible Beltway widening."
5) Anything else that you think would be for the good of the neighborhood!
The only two requirements for membership in the South Four Corners Citizens Association are that you:
1. Live in South Four Corners.
2. Pay the annual membership fee of $15 to:
