This list is for posting of SF stories for critique. Membership is Restricted to those who are members of the SciFi_Discussion, FantasyDiscussion and StarTrekTalk lists only.

Our goal is to help each other improve our writing skills.
Most, if not all, with the intention of seeking eventual publication.

Submissions for Critique should have SUB on the Subject line.

Critiques should have CRIT on the Subject line.

General discussion of the works in progress is permitted
but should be limited. Market submission recommendations
are a Plus :)

This is a very relaxed group. Participation is on an "as
needed" basis.

No requirements for minimum participation. However, if you
wish to have your work critiqued it is customary to
critique at least two other submissions. Of course, if
there are no other submissions awaiting critiquing this
doesn't apply.

Please Do NOT discuss the details of the "Works In Progress" on the other lists. When the authors are ready to share their work they will do so on their own terms.

The Shared Files area is available for those who wish to trade files. Especially if you want to include a formatted version of your story for review since this list doesn't allow HTML or attachments. Submissions in Word, WordPerfect, etc are treated as attachments by the YahooGroups software. Only Plain Text messages are allowed to pass through (for those using Rich Text Format, the Rich Text is stripped and the Plain Text allowed to pass through removing the formatting).
