Hey Tes,
I totally agree with you. You may be on to something with the SAD
stuff. I know that I feel worse during the winter months. I also
get more lows when I don't get enough time with other people. It's
hard to fix their problems when I don't see them. Then I just have
to focus on my own problems...that's enough to depress anyone! But
really, my life is pretty good and compared to some I really
shouldn't have anything to gripe about, but I do it anyway. I guess
it is the same for everyone, and the "starving kids in China" are
always there to make even our meals something to be upset about.
I'm not trying to put myself on a pedestal or anything, but I think
that when a person feels so much for so many creatures it just can't
help but depress them at times. There is so much that can't be done
and so much that needs to be done and so many choices to make that
it makes it almost impossible to make one. At least that is the way
it is for me. I wake up in the middle of the night and write long
streams of consciousness about random topics and then I shake to the
core when I read them the next day, week or month. You all should
try it sometime when you are really tired. Amazing what you find
out about the way you think and what you think. Just like taking
LSD, be prepared for what you will find out about yourself cuz it
can be a life changing event at times.
The verbal vomit is a flowing so I better cap this one off for now.
Thanks for the well wishing and concern from all. It's good to be
on the receiving end of the caring and concern.
Love to you all in as many forms as the world has to offer,
-Heather
