Discussion of tail-less, delta-wing ultralight aircraft known as "trikes" that can land on and take off from water. Some trikes are amphibious and can be operated from both land and water.
Models discussed include the SeaWing amphibian, the FIB (Flying Inflatable Boat -- also available as an amphib), and others including several brands of land-based trikes adapted for water operation by the addition of floats. Although most are flown as ultralights (or ultralight trainers), some fly as FAA N-numbered experimentals.
