Description

The SIG (Special Interest Group) Business is thought as a facilitating communication tool on bringing the thoughts, ideas and concepts of system dynamics into practical use in business environments.

The aim is mainly to improve the system dynamics knowledge of the group members in order to use SD effectively -and of course- efficiently in diagnosing and solving complex business problems. These are often overseen by managers -and staff alike- and the knowing of appropriate tools is crucial to overcome the "short sighting of decisions' impacts".

It is loosely connected to the System Dynamics Society (http://www.systemdynamics.org) and will be part of future SDS Conferences to bring the field of system dynamics further ahead.
