Greetings,
Tom Blackman, Pete Ginsburg and I met Dave Povey at San Diego's Shelter Island
at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday November 3 to go see what we could see at sea in between
fog banks.
We saw 4 Brown Boobies at the south end of the Nine Mile Bank, 35 more on the
Coronados Islands, around 20 Northern Fulmars, 2 American or AM/BL
Oystercatchers of varying purity, Humpback Whales and Tom got a killer photo of
a Peregrine Falcon scooping a Cassin's Auklet off the water for lunch – tastes
like chicken. Trip report and Tom's photos:

There may be a couple of spaces left on the November 14 Condor Express trip from
Santa Barbara.
