No time to write much: off to work in 3 minutes and not back till the
witching hour.



LJC was wonderful this afternoon. Ferocious winds, tumultuous seas,
gorgeous light.

Highlights:

1 Manx shearwater seen only 150 yards from shore

118 black-legged kittiwakes, the closest less than 10 feet from the
bench.

No alcids

Lots of black-venteds. I fulmar.



The wind is supposed to be calm tomorrow, but the morning after the
storm should be good, too.
