SCV Army of Tennessee Officer Newslist

This is a special communications newslist for Leaders of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Army of Tennessee (AOT Officers and staff, Division Commanders, Division Adjutants and Division Communications/Heritage Officers)

This list is for critical, vital, important and/or urgent communications of news, events, and similar items dealing with the membership within the AOT. We would try to get at least 1 representative from each Division within the AOT on this list.

This is NOT A CHAT or DISCUSSION based list. All members may post and respond.

When requesting to join the list, we need the following information for verification of your membership and office:

Name
Address
Phone
Email Address
AOT/Division Office
Camp Name, number and location
Camp Commander

Once verified you will be officially added to the list.

The mission of the SCV is best said with the Charge to the Sons of Confederate Veterans given by Lt. General Stephen Dill Lee, CSA, Commander General, United Confederate Veterans, April 25,1906:

"To you, Sons of Confederate Veterans, we will commit the vindication of the cause for which we fought. To your strength will be given the defense of the Confederate soldier's good name, the guardianship of his history, the emulation of his virtues, the perpetuation of those principles which he loved and which you love also, and those ideals which made him glorious and which you also cherish".
