Welcome to SCQATCswap which is off shoot group from Southern Cross Quilters (which is a mailing list for Australian and New Zealand quilters, or expatriates presently living overseas)

This group was started for SCQuilters to learn more about fabric cards. The group has now become a friendly swapping group of Aussie & NZers Quilt makers making ATC’s and postcards.
This group was started to help and answer questions on the Cheer Me Up Atc Swap that is now closed and all the swap cards have been posted.
This means that now we can use our creativity in any way to make fabric Atc's and postcards for our mini swaps.
An ATC is an Artists Trading Card. All ATC’s are 3 1/2" by 2 1/2" and have three layers front, middle (pellon) and back and made of fibre or fabric, ( beads etc can be added) as we are Quilters.
Postcards are made the same as ATC’s with three layers and are larger in size 6” X 4” and are posted naked with no envelope like a normal postcard.

Check the Database to find current swaps in a variety of themes. Our database has an ongoing list of people who want to swap with others on a 1-to-1 basis. Group swaps are limited to groups of no more than 6 people. Suggestions are always welcome.

When you join the group you must answer a few questions about yourself so that the group owner can approve your Aussie/NZ membership.
