You are encouraged to post "MO's", questions or any other msgs that you feel relate to the SCFIA or its members.

The archives may be accessed by "clicking" on the number beneath any month on the opening page OR by "clicking" on "Messages" on the left border.

There is also a SEARCH ENGINE in the upper right corner for archival material.

SUBJECT FIELD: ALL msgs MUST contain a brief, accurate description of the contents in the SUBJECT FIELD.

Common-sense etiquette, no personal advertising please.

Greetings and welcome to the new and improved Southern California Fraud Investigators Association listserv (www.scfia.org). This is a moderated listserv which will serve as the official electronic communication point for the association.

This listserv will be used for all electronic announcements for SCFIA conferences, lunch and learns, one day seminars and various committee requests.

This listserv can also be used by the membership to post requests for information on cases that they are working on which could include expert witnesses, case law, knowledge of investigators who specialize in a certain field or who work in a certain area, etcc... The list is endless for what the listserv could be used for.

There will be no flaming, bad mouthing or blatant advertisements. The board of directors has the final say on the exclusions of what the listserv can be used for. Violations of the listserv can lead to restrictions on sending emails.

By going into the yahoo groups and setting up an account or by confirming your agreement to join the listserv you can regulate how you receive your emails. You can elect to recieve individual emails, daily summary, digest or web only emails. By regulating how you receive your emails you can control how often you receive emails from in your mail folder.
