SCA Weight Loss Surgery Support group
This group is dedicated to the support and encouragement for Pre- and post- operative Bariatric Surgery patients and their friends and families, within the context of the Society for Creative Anachronism.
The SCA's unique environment can present a severe challenge to people who have undergone WLS.
Because of the extensive dietary, physiological and psycological changes that result from Weight Loss surgery, it is often nice to have an understanding ear and a supportive shoulder. I hope that this group will help people to network and find such comfort and support, and provide a nurturing environment and assistance to those who are trying to make it work in the SCA.
