It is hoped that List members will find open discussion in the areas of medieval food and feasts. Topics cover all aspects of cooking and feasting. If you need recipes to serve at feasts, ask here. If you have questions about hall setup, meal serving, menu planning or any aspect of feasting, just ask. Discussion is NOT limited to historically documented recipes. There are already groups/lists for SCA authenticity cooks, this one is for the historic cook AND the ambiance cook. Both experienced and novice cooks are welcome. Although most are members of the SCA, COOKS FROM OTHER "MEDIEVAL" REENACTMENT GROUPS ARE WELCOME. Members are asked to stay on topic (or fairly close) and be respectful at all times. All are welcome, but to prevent spamming the moderator will monitor all requests to join.
