Southern California Area DxerS are a group of local area radio communication listeners who get together on the third Saturday of the month to discuss the ever changing, World Band Shortwave Radio scene and enjoy the comradery of others. Southern California Area DxerS are not a formal club. Everyone is welcome to attend. We especially urge young adults to visit our Club to see the variances in Radio and what is available to them in the World of Radio listening. While shortwave and utility listeners are in the majority, you will find other interests represented, such as Longwave, Mediumwave (BCB), Clandestine, Pirate Radio,FM-TV-UHF-VHF, Military, Commerical Aircraft plus Scanners to 900mHz. There is no cost to attend a Southern California Area DxerS Meeting as a Guest!

SCADS Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 12 noon to 2pm at the Los Alamitos/Rossmoor Library, 12700 Monticeto Road, Los Alamitos, CA-90740
