Welcome to SCA-household! This email list is to encourage communication and the sharing of knowledge between the households in the SCA. This email group is open to all interested parties who belong to households or who are thinking of organizing a household. We recognize that while many households have a leader or "head" that there are other valuable members without which a household could not function, and so this email list is open to all.

This list is to encourage the creativity of period re-creation as well as providing a forum for the discussion of how to organize households. Households can encompass both Arts and Sciences focus and those interested primarily in combat (warbands), although this list will probably lean more toward Arts and Sciences since there are many other available resources for combat information (the SCA-War email group on YahooGroups, for instance).

While households are not official organizations in the SCA, we encourage all heads of household to send letters of welcome to new Kings/Queens, Baron/Baronesses, and other officers of your kingdom so that they know of your presence and support.
