The Barracks is the place where the Squires of the SCA can hang out when the work is done and there is time to talk and enjoy ourselves. This is a open, unmoderated discussion group for members of the Society for Creative Anachronism who are in service to Knights or Masters at Arms of the Society as squires.

10/7/04: Due to problems with spam abuse, subscribers are now screened.

Once admitted, subscribers are expected to be actively serving as squires to a member of the Chivalry of the SCA, and are expected to voluntarily withdraw in honorable fashion from the barracks upon elevation to the Chivalry, or release from service as a squire.

In keeping with the traditional precepts of 'Netiquette' and so that all may feel comfortable to speak their minds freely, comments and discussions made in this forum are expected to remain thus (in this forum), unless the explicit consent of the author is granted to do otherwise.
