This is an unofficial list for Rapier Combat and History in the Society of Creative Anachronism. Fencers welcome here to discuss, network and learn. We want to encourage the continued growth, development and maturing of rapier in the Society.

Guidelines for the community:
Announcements about upcoming events with significant rapier focus/activities, awards and recognitions, rules changes, discussions about merchants and passings of members of the community are welcome. Keep event announcements to once per week.

Advertising, infomercials, SPAM and other intrusive means of promoting a product or service are frowned on here. That's the polite way of saying *don't do it*. Your account will be reported, the message deleted and you will be banned - period. Announcing that your rapier focused business will be at an event/war/academy in acceptible with moderator approval. Submit the full text (text only) of the announcement to the moderators one week in advance of any desired (one time) date.

Snark, trolling and harassment of any kind is not civil, honorable and is certainly not acceptible here. If you differ in opinion, respect the other person's opinion and agree to disagree. Personal attacks trolling and such will get you one public warning. If it continues, the offending party will be removed.
