Discuss the design and construction of castles, keeps, donjons, baileys, towers, churches, houses, farmsteads, villages, etc. for the purpose of building such structures (or reasonable immitations thereof) in the modern world.

This group is open to members of all re-creation, re-enactment, and historic recreation groups as well as those just interested in the subject.

We are interested in authentic or "real" castles and related buildings, not pseudo-castles and decorated manor houses or villas.

New members must introduce themselves to the group and will be moderated until such time as they have a consistent history.

Participation is required. Try to post at least once every few months because persistant lurkers will be removed.

This is not a list for promoting various projects or recruiting. Doing so will get you banned.
