This group has been formed because although there are "many " excellent cooks groups in medieval recreation and reenactment, I have found none that strictly look to make the cooking "experience" medieval.
Sure, we cook the food with the recipes and we dress in the clothes, but we don't "finish" it.
This group will discuss and emphasize the medieval mindset of the cook as well as techniques, tools used, regional differences, "some" recipes, and how we can achieve that nuance in our recreation.
This is the place where we can really discuss techniques and leave the other lists for the occasional period brownie recipes.
