Spiritually Annointed Leadership Team [SALT] is a ministry of resource-sharing for ordained ministers and dedicated lay members of all Christian denominations whether they be Orthodox, Catholic, or Protestants serving congregations in or near the Metropolitan Area of Columbus, Ohio USA. Other chapters of SALT have their own groups but are linked together; for example the founding SALT group is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina USA.

It is our belief that serving the poor transcends all denominational, doctrinal, and theological barriers. We are all called to the fast that God desires (Isaiah 58:6-14) and know how we are to be judged (Mathew 25:31-46). Amen.

All of us seek to be efficient in our ministries. One church may have many volunteers available and another may need volunteers. Some churches can combine their efforts for summer programs for inner city kids. Others may have opportunities for mentally ill or handicapped. One church may have a clothing ministry and another may have a food pantry or cafeteria. Another may have a crisis intervention ministry. By sharing these together we can add greatly to the effectiveness of our own congregations to the Glory of God.

This group is also available for other service providers to keep aware of additional resources of churches in the Columbus area.

Salt and Light
Mathew Chapter 5:

13"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
