Ruminations is a discussion list devoted to the teachings of Jalal al-Din Rumi,
the 13th century Sufi mystic. Though the discussions often center on themes common
to all spiritual pathways, this community of subscribers share the common ground of a
love and consideration of the poetry and spirituality of Rumi. As the daily poem sent
out by Ruminations' companion list, Sunlight, is often the springboard for discussions,
