This is not the Rotherham Freegle group, but a sister ‘chat’ group. The main Freegle group is here

Rotherham_freegle_cafe is a community information sharing group for people living in and around the Rotherham area. Members can pass on information about community events, ask for local recommendations or just chat amongst like-minded (or not so like-minded) people. We don't have many rules, but we do insist that all messages are polite, legal and appropriate for all ages.

Please join us to meet old, and new friends and encourage the community spirit which is a big part of Freegle :-)

You could:

• Ask for help - If you've got a "How do I?" or a "Where can I find?" question, then this is the place to seek answers from your helpful and knowledgeable fellow members!
• Advertise local events - tell us about the play you're putting on, charity car boot sales or the knitting group you're starting up.
• Ask to borrow items – Swapping and borrowing isn't allowed on the main site but it's welcome here. All arrangements are between the members themselves. The group can take no responsibility for breakage/loss of items under these agreements.
• Discuss the Freegle group - We welcome all comments, both positive and (constructively!) negative, about the group. Publicity ideas and offers of help are always very welcome too!
