Rolling Thunder ® Inc, Chapter 5 NY is a Veterans support organization. Our mission is to publicize the POW-MIA issue: to educate the public that many American prisoners of war were left behind after previous wars and to help correct the past and protect future veterans from being left behind should they become prisoners of war or missing in action. We are also committed to helping American disabled Veterans from all our branches of military services.
Rolling Thunder Inc is a class 501 C-4 non-profit organization. Every member donates his/her time because they believe in the POW-MIA and Veterans issues at hand.
Rolling Thunder Inc is not a motorcycle club. While many of our members do ride motorcycles and many functions are motorcycle oriented, one does not have have to own or ride a motorcycle to be a member of Rolling Thunder Inc. Many of our members do not ride and there are many functions for the non-rider.
Want to learn more about us? We meet the 3rd Sunday of every month at 10:00am on the ourth floor of the Stratton VA-Medical Center in Albany. Our meetings are open to the public, so attend some of our meetings.
