Rogue Hikers of Rochester and Western NY

"Because Hiking is Better Than Yard Work."

We are the Rogue Hikers, a group that hikes in parks, in and around Rochester, NY, and surrounding counties. We also do vacation-like outings and field trips to out of the way places that make this region unique and interesting.

Often, we go for a bite to eat, and get to know each other.

We also meetup for other activites, like Frisbee, as well.

OUR MISSION
To break routine, visit off-the-beaten path parks in Monroe county, and surrounding areas, get outside, and make new friends. We strive to integrate community service and environmental advocacy with outdoor activities.

OUR POLICY
We have a "No Hiker Left Behind" policy. Our hikes are suitable for the beginner hiker who may be out of shape, or isn't ready for more strenuous hikes longer than 4 miles.
