This is a new group, in the very 1st stages of development, with the aim of opening up communication and making information easily dispursed and readily available within the feral cat rescue community of the Rocky Mountain area. If you are interested in helping shape this forum, please email the moderator at RockyMountainFeralCatForum-owner@yahoogroups.com . Anyone is welcome to participate whether they are caring for several colonies of cats or simply need info on what they can do to help a stray cat they have become aware of.
It is eventually going to be a place where anyone involved with feral or stray cat rescue in the Rocky Mountain area, can share ideas, ask questions, get support, gain wisdom or just talk about the issues involving feral cats. Members will be encouraged to help each other whether they are seasoned trappers or newbies with lots of questions. Please help this forum become a comprehensive part of the feral cat community and invite others helping feral cats to participate as well.
Topics included in feral cat discussion will ultimately include, but not be limited to...Hard to trap cats, best sources for equipment or supplies, feral cat health, clinic schedules, building shelters, fundraising, education and advocacy, resources, special events, etc.
It is recommended that members subscribe to "daily digest" emails from this forum in order to stay up on current happenings in the area. This option is available under "edit membership" at the top of the home page.
Your constructive ideas and suggestions for shaping this forum are always welcome. Members are encouraged to add helpful information to the groups files as well as create online photo albums to share their pictures. New members may be initially moderated.
