Bill,
After 6 weeks of work with weekends off I am pleased to report I have contacted one of the Surviving WASP II Pilots from the 1982 program.
He has agreed to participate in reproducing the WASP equipped with the WR19 Engine, he has confirmed my observations:
Due to the the Oversized single Stage LP Fan the HP compressors do not have enough MASS to off set the Gyroscopic effect the LP fan imparts upon the WASP.
The WR19 is the first and last Fan Jet engine which did not have counter rotating Dual fans, most engines have 3,4,5, or 6 (fans) which NEUTRALISE the required gyroscopic effect the WASP requires.
It is my intent to form a company-why?
The Pilot just moved into a retirement community and needs the cash and that means a company is required to make his life comfortable- Sucks living on a fixed income.
One of the other members has a contact in California, I have Seattle Washington covered;
Here is the odd part:
No one has ever talked to the WASP Pilots... EVER.
I just got off the phone with one, now it has been said someone has contacted Metzgar regarding the acquisition of the WASP book, Please provide information on this action, thank you.
I am very very serious about my course of action, here is why: I can achieve the goals I set for my self, many years ago I was diagnosed with Hyperthymesia:
>Persons with the syndrome have an unusual, amazing capacity to remember as well as recall any specific personal events or trivial details, including a date, the weather, what people wore on that day, from their past.<
I have Total Recall.
I never forget anything-ever.
I could tell you what you had for breakfast 10 years from now.
I will not stop until this WASP PROJECT is complete.
Due to Decades of practice I can emulate (normal) behaviour, but in the course of conversation I can recall all the information I have ever read, down to the texture of the paper the smell of old books.
Now you are aware of the conditions I operate in.
Provide information so I (own) all of it and this will allow me to produce the best WR19 and the WASP application with 2012 VS 1965 Technology;
DO you want to fly one?
Scott
