The Ridgetop Neighborhood Association (RNA) is located within the City of Austin’s designated North Loop Neighborhood Planning Area. Specifically, it is the neighborhood bounded by IH-35 to the east, Koenig Ln./Hwy. 290 to the north, and 45th Street to the south, with Red River and Airport Blvd. to the west. This corridor along Airport Blvd. is an area known throughout the city simply as “Ridgetop.”

We share common interests and concerns, such as fronting Airport Blvd. and 51st Street; IH-35 frontage with possible expansion by TxDOT; the Capital Metro railroad track (slated to become a commuter rail line by 2008); proximity to the Mueller redevelopment; Ridgetop Elementary School; the Day Labor Center; and similar housing stock and development patterns from the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s.

We are a group of friendly, supportive residents who share concerns and thoughts on our community, with a focus on becoming a better neighborhood.
