Did you, a long time ago in DeKalb Co., Indiana, go to a two-room grade school named West Richland -- or East Richland? How about Corunna?

Some of us still stay in touch and reminisce about those good ol’ days.

My name is Bob ("Bobby" back then) Friend. I began my childhood in 1947 in a little house on Hwy. 327, south of Corunna, Indiana, with my parents and my brother “Jimmy.” I spent grades 1~6 at West Richland School before we moved to the nearby town of Waterloo.

My old friends and I would like to hear from more of you who remember what it was like to be educated in our little country grade schools during early- and mid-20th Century America.
