This is a discussion list on reserve studies for condos, coops, and cohousing. The subjects of discussion include the reasons for having a reserve study done, the reasons for having reserve funds, what a good reserve study covers, and how to convince your community that you need one. We will also be discussing how interest rates are calculated on reserve funds and what time periods the financial calculations should cover. Where possible, members will be sharing copies of their reserve studies.
