Welcome to the Reno Otherkin Meetup group, a group for all the many varieties of Reno's Otherkin (vampires, witches, fae, therian, mythkin, angelic/demonic, etc.), in addition to those curious and open-minded folk who are interested.

Our goal is to make a safe place for 'Kin to be ourselves, and a fitting setting for us to learn about and discuss what being Otherkin entails.

Please abide by the following rules:

1. No spam, flaming, or any form of internet harassment of any kind will be tolerated. Any violators will be banned.

2. Please respect other people's privacy. Do not expose someone to the outside world without their consent, and do not probe or ask snoopy questions without your subject's permission.

3. Please respect each other's nature. Vampires need human life vitality to survive, fae enchant people as naturally as breathing, and witches often read the spirits of those they meet. If you are the subject of magic, and you do not wish to be, say so. Conversely, if you perform magic upon someone and they don't like it, they are perfectly within their rights to magically "swat" you.

4. No DRAMA! We are a peaceful and relaxed, safe environment for everyone to come unwind and be around their own kind. We are not a therapy group, nor are we the weekend confessional. Feel free to share when and where appropriate, in accordance with the discussions at hand. Don't worry, there will be plenty of time set aside as part of the meetings for general socializing.

5. We meet once every other week. Discussions topics can be suggested and discussed initially on this list. Please feel free to suggest discussion topics or ask questions to the list. Feel free to contact any of the moderators for details on the meet-ups.
