This group is for the good of the people and the community. Like recycling the item over and over. I do not have many rules but to be polite, kind, and considerate. This group is for anyone in Eugene, Oregon or close by that has items to give away or is looking for items to get that they need, or items they know their friends, families and others need. I believe in helping others and have no issues with things going to someone off the list that you know truly needs it. I do also ask that when you post to the group you use the following subject lines.. WANTED for things you are looking for...OFFER...for things you are giving away. Also when you give something away please post a TAKEN post to the group as well as when you find an item you were wanting to post a FOUND post. Also please put in the subject line or somewhere in the body of the email your city so people know right away where you are and how far they may need to travel to get the item. If you do not follow these rules your post will not be approved. Also you must at the very least have your email settings at "Special Notices" to receive special notices that I may send out. If I find settings on "No email" I will change them to the Special Notices. If you change them back to no email I will remove you.
I have no rules as to who you give to or not give to. It is your item and you are free to give to whoever you wish. I also ask when you reply to an offer you are polite, friendly and courteous. We are not affiliated with Freecycle Eugene in any way.
Besides these rules you are pretty much to just interact and have fun helping others in this world.
