The Raccoon Creek Community Forum allows people interested in the Raccoon Creek Community to ask questions, provide answers, make suggestions, note useful information, and otherwise support the development of Raccoon Creek Community.

No one will be denied membership in the forum, but initial posts may be moderated until the list manager determines that a new subscriber will use the list appropriately.

Raccoon Creek is located about 20 minutes west of Bloomington, Indiana, on a wooded site along, you guessed it, Raccoon Creek.

Community membership is open to all who can support the community's vision.

One may be an "associate member" or "resident member" as they choose once one's personal vision statement for the community is accepted by the members.

Resident members agree to contribute an equal share of the ownership of all the community's common property. This will include a community building with facilities for dining, laundry, social gatherings, a library, a shop, dance floor, etc, in a large barn that we have dismantled and moved to the site, a pond, gardens and orchards, energy conversion equipment (solar and hydro), and various other items that members choose to own in common.

Our land is owned in common by the community, but individual personal living quarters -apartment, home, shared house- will be owned by their respective members.
