This an open forum for RVers interested in using Internet By Satellite, regardless of type or make of setup.

If you are a "newbie" please do not be afraid of some of the technical questions being asked, all of us was a newbie at one time and in my case probably always will be. But like everything else, there is a new “language" to be learned and while it is NOT rocket science there are some technical terms to be learned and that is what this group is for.

As in most things you have a choice, depending on how many $$ you want to spend. The automatic setups cost several thousands of $$$ and are much easier to live with, the “tripod” setups are much cheaper to live with $$ wise but you have to learn more in order to live with them.

This group is first for the NEWBIE or prospective new user, second for existing users, and last but not least for commercial interests as we all are part of the circle. Commercial Interests are here to answer questions, NOT TO MAKE A SALES PITCH. Any PRIVATE communication between any dealer / installer shall be via private communications, NOT VIA GROUP MESSAGES.

Please consult the Files and Photos sections of this group before asking questions, as you will probably find your answers there. But by all means DO NOT HESITATE to ask any question RELATED TO THE INTENT of this group as we are proud to have some VERY knowledgeable and HELPFUL members to answer most any questions you may have.

PLEASE keep the subject matter RELATED TO THE INTENT OF THIS GROUP. TV, Wifi, cell phone, as such is NOT related, "UNLESS" IT IS RELATED TO SATELLITE, then go for it.

There will be no censorship but common courtesy will be observed or you will be moderated or deleted.
