Description

This group is dedicated to all prospective builders, current builders and current flyers of the Van's Aircraft line of kit airplanes - RV-7/7A, RV-3, RV-4, RV-6/6A, RV-8/8A, RV-9/9A, RV-10, and RV-12. Even though it is named RV-7A, we welcome any of you who are building or are just interested in Van's aircraft.

You do not need to be a member of this group to view almost any of it, but you will need to join if you wish to post and receive messages. Images can be embedded in Outlook-originated messages but will not be visible here on the site. Those getting email messages, however, will be able to see them.

Be sure to check out Bob Collins' Letters From Flyover Country.  Bob is building a -7A, and his notes give a great perspective on the building experience and grassroots aviation.  Whether it's a trip to Oshkosh, or a discussion about engine choices for RV's, Bob makes it interesting.

Bob, If you take it seriously, like you seem to be doing, you will do fine. I've seen people do a careful inspection until they think it is ready and then get

Hi Bob, the Murphy factor has bugged me ever since I got started on my RV. Especially on that harrowing first flight in the future. I've decided the best I can
