'64 REUNION BASH A SMASH!


ROCKY RIVER, OH - SEP 2009: The 1964 graduating class of Rocky River High School celebrated the 45th Anniversary of their graduation with a weekend filled with friendship, memories, nostalgia, partying and all-around good times. A TOMTIM Production, the weekend extravaganza featured a Friday night mixer at The Beachcliff Tavern and a Saturday dinner at Sweetwater Landing on the banks of the Rocky River. Executive producers Tom Allen and Tim Brimus expressed their joy at the large turnout. "We had high hopes but we never expected this many classmates and so many from out of state locations." said Allen. According to Linda Price Zbin, some classmates were attending a reunion for the first time. Linda, along with Marsha Jennings Molnar and Christine Nickels Westerfield directed the activities, ably assisted by Bill Walker, Jim Doan, Jack Nordstrom and Chris Celebrezze. This award winning crew expressed "Special Thanks" to Barb Geckler Walton, Robbie Slack Tupa, Betsy Gibson Burger, Bonnie McLandsborough Cockburn and Honorary classmate Mike Wieland.

When asked about a sequel, Brimus replied "Look for one in September, 2014." For those who missed this event, keep that date in mind. For those who attended, a great big "THANKS!" and we are looking forward to seeing you again in '14 for (gasp!) the 50 year reunion.
