up badly. One of the kids attacked him with the stake while he was on the
ground. He got up from the crash and as he was being hit with the stake
aggressively yelled at the assailants that they had picked on the wrong guy
because his friend who is a cop was riding with him and would be there shortly.
That cause the kids to hop on their bikes and flee and may have saved his life.
There was no cop coming, but the threat worked. Contrary to the police report,
the injuries to his elbows were from fending off blows from the stake.
