Description

Welcome to Sacramento's Premier Recumbent Community. Established in the summer of '96 the Recumbent Riders of Sacramento sponsor 2 standard calendar rides each month, a First Saturday Ride (first Saturday of every month) and a Moonlight Ride (Friday or Saturday evening closest to a full moon) Ride dates and times are posted below. Unless noted, both rides begin in William Pond Park on the American River bike trail in Carmichael. Check the links section of this site for an interactive yahoo map to our start location.



May Moonlight Ride: Saturday, May 5, 5:00 PM at Mile 0 in Discovery Park.

May Monthly ride: Saturday, May 12, 9:00 AM at the water fountain and restroom in William Pond Park just south of the Arden Way entrance.



NOTE: Merchants at the Five Oaks shopping center do not want cyclists congregating in the parking lot. It is still possible to park there, but the ride meeting place has been moved to William Pond Park.

All cyclists, conventional or recumbent welcome to attend. HELMET REQUIRED
