This Group is dedicated to Radio Direction Finding (RDF) or more commonly known as Fox/Rabbit Hunting, "T" Hunting, or Transmitter Hunting.
This Group is for "sharing" information, knowledge, techniques, methods, experiences, equipment modifications, RDF link sites, RDF product reviews, etc. in the promotion of RDF'ing.
RDF'ing is a unique, often a physical sport that requires special talents, abilities, and knowledge to master the challenge. Every hunt is an adventure increasing your knowledge leading to increased success. As two wise Hunters once told me, "RDF'ing is a big boys game of hide-n-seek using radio waves" and "the more you hunt the more you want to hunt." And the ultimate quote, "Never but Never trust what a fellow Hunter tells you DURING a hunt!"
The Group's focus in primarily on "Amateur/HAM" RDF'ing as we are the most prolific RDF'ers in the world. But non-HAMs like FRS/GMRS, ELT/CAP, Military, Wildlife, and Government RDF'ers are very welcome!
