Description

OUR GROUP PROVIDES EMERGENCY SERVICES COMMUNICATION FOR THE PUBLIC DURING DISASTERS FREE OF CHARGE. WE ARE A COMPOSITE OF OTHER EMERGENCY SERVICES GROUPS IN STATE AND FEDERAL GOVERMENTS.
OUR CONTROLING AGENCY IS THE AMERICAN RADIO RELAY LEAGUE SINCE 1914. AMATEUR RADIO EMERGENCY SERVICES IN RUTHERFORD COUNTY ALSO PROVIDE COMMUNICATION FOR DISASTER RELIEF OPERATION FOR THE AMERICAN RED CROSS AND WE HAVE A ICC
AT THE CHAPTER.
EACH MEMBER MUST BE A AMATEUR RADIO OPERATOR AND HOLD A TECH' CLASS OR HIGHER LICENSE AND BE WILLING TO HELP IN TIME OF DISASTER.

... I think a simplex net would be a great idea, maybe on 147.505? And the thought of rotating the NCS is also a good idea, lord knows I need the practice.
