Resident's Association of Downtown LA is a grass roots organization formed in March 2005 to addres the needs of the growing downtown residential community. This focus will initially be on those issues of the Historic Core nieghborhood and the adjacent Central City East neighborhood.

RAD LA looks forward to working with all partners in the redevelopment and promotion of downtown. By making the area a great residential community, the architecture, history, night life, services and safety issues will all be enhanced. The purpose of the residents association is not to recreate the mission of existing groups, but to work in partnership with those groups where possible, and create a new community organization and purpose where it is presently not served.

All are encouraged to get involved. However, the intent of the organization is to deal with residential issues and to be solution oriented and not just discussion focused.

Monthly meetings are the 2nd Monday of the month. Little Tokyo Library Community Room at 5:30 PM. Address is 203 S. Los Angeles Street (at 2nd).
