Trio / Kenwood R-1000 Receiver

A group for users of the Trio, Later Kenwood R-1000, an Excellent compact Shortwave Receiver.

Here you can find links, a copy of the operators and Service manual, modifications, tips, photographs, and some other usefull information about the "R-1K" etc.

To prevent QRM (Spamming), all new members will be switched on in "Warm-up" (Pending Approval) and "on Stand-by" (Moderated for first postings) until I see what they have joined for.

People joining just to post a notice to sell an "attic find", etc., will be ignored, their post deleted and membership terminated... then we are not a free replacement for e-bay nor a commercial group!

i.e. This is not a Sales or Swap-shop - Only Members who have ACTIVELY taken part in discussions and been a member for more than 3 months, can place a "private" "one-off" "non-commercial" "for sale" ad, (only R-1000) or place a "wanted" ads. Also after 3 months "Links" to e-bay related "discoveries" will be permitted, but only one per item!
