Quilts of Valour - Canada give quilted hugs of support through the presentation of quilts of comfort made for our wounded Canadian military service people.

If you are not at all sure whether to make quilts or squares for quilts for those who are ensuring your countries are remaining free - please take the time to meet a soldier - and his or her family. Take an hour of your life to meet someone whose life will never be the same because in keeping our world free to quilt, chat, read, work, play, vote, go where and when we want, eat where and what we want, a soldier's life has been altered by a split second. And he or she is proud to have been there.

If you want to participate, make a lap size or slightly larger size quilt (max about 90" square), 100% cotton, Canadianna theme. Make it on your own, make it with a group - keep a diary of your project, include a post card for return confirmation.. the rules are like so many - no rules, because it's from the heart.
