We are an Australian-based,easy-going quilters' group with members worldwide. At QDU, as with local quilting groups that meet regularly, all topics are discussed, not just quilting. Come & join in & contribute, without feeling that your emails & questions will be thought silly or inappropriate.

We don't impose lots of rules on our members, but we do have 3 Principles, which we do enforce:

1. Do not flame, ridicule, abuse, make racist or politically derogatory comments through the list or via personal emails to other members of the list.

2. Do not cross-post the same message to multiple Yahoo Groups within one email. If you wish to write to more than one group, please send your emails separately to each group.

3. Do not send racist, religious or culturally insensitive jokes to the group. If in doubt, play it safe & don't send the joke to the group. If you feel the joke needs a warning to people not to read it if they are likely to be offended, don't send the joke.

We request tolerance when a member posts something with which you disagree. We ask that, if you don’t agree with something that has been sent to the list, you please delete it & move on. For QDU to stay happy & well balanced, it is our members’ responsibility to do so with thoughtful & considered emails.

If you choose to join us please stay online for a few minutes after clicking join. Yahoo will send you an email from us asking you for some details that we use to check you are who you say you are. Your information is kept confidential. If you do not wish to supply your name, address & phone number, then QDU is not for you as this is how we keep the list safe & clean. Please reply as soon as possible so we can process your application.
