Queers For Racial & Economic Justice; organizing a collective & visible queer presence in the social justice movements & linking the struggle of queer emancipation with emancipation from all forms of bigotry, oppression & exclusion. There are also regional QFREJ listserves; QFREJEast, QFREJSouth, QFREJMidwest, QFREJWest and Progressive Queers chapters linked to QFREJ that network queer people of color, working class queers and queer progressives in the following metropolitan areas: Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Chicago, DetroitWindsor, Ohio, Atlanta, Colorado, Texas, Florida, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Oregon, Vancouver (Canada), Toronto. We encourage folks to set up similar networks/listserves in their area.
