PYROGRAPHY is a process of burning designs on wood, leather, gourds & other materials with a heated tool. This group is open to anyone interested in learning & sharing techniques associated with Pyrography, including carving & the use of other mediums such as pencils & paint to enhance their pyrographic art.

MEMBERS MAY NOT USE THIS GROUP TO: flame other members; discuss sexual, religious or political views; spam; use the group email address or members email addresses for ANY kind of solicitation or invitation to join Social/Professional Networking sites; post messages to the group to promote personal products, services or business' or other online pyrography groups (Use of a signature is acceptable).

Members may add ONE album (please use YOUR NAME as the title). Your art may be pyrography on gourds, wood, leather, paper, canvas, etc but it must contain PYROGRAPHY.

Members MAY NOT post any work of a commercial trademarked character or that has been copied from someone else's art work or photos without written permission from the owner & credit given. If your art is based on a photo in public domain or a pattern please indicate the source of the pattern or photo. Failure to comply will result in removal from the group.

The featured artist is Angel Portice who has been involved with horses since childhood & breeds, shows & trains Arabian & other horses. Her love of horses is seen in her art. She began drawing horses & other animals as a child & started burning 15 years with a craft burner. She now uses a Razertip & is now burning professionally. Shown is a Vizla Retrieving.
