PYROGRAPHY is a process of burning designs on wood, leather, gourds and other materials with a heated tool. This group is open to everyone who is interested in learning and sharing techniques associated with the art of Pyrography including carving and the use of other mediums such as pencils and paint to enhance their pyrographic art.

Featured artist is Gary Green from Wisconsin. Gary is retired and has been burning and carving for about 15 years. Although Gary has an art background he is a self-taught pyrographer. He uses a Detailmaster and the featured burning was a commission of a friend's dog. The burning was done with a Detailmaster 6A tip.
