If you're interested in the old pulp magazines, this forum is the place to be. We mainly deal with OLD pulps, but there are some exciting things happening these days with "new pulp" fiction and with the modern reprints of classic pulps and this group is a great place to catch all the latest developments - because many of the people working with those projects are right here. If you're a pulp magazine fan, there's plenty of room for you here too. This moderated list is set up along the lines of PEAPS, the Pulp Era Amateur Press Society, and all pulp fans across the world are welcome.
Please note: we ask that when you join PulpMags, please post a short introductory message to the list. Just a short message (or as long as you like, really) that tells us your name and something about your interest in pulp magazines. You might mention what titles you're particularly interested in, whether you consider yourself a collector or are just interested in learning more about the pulps, and so on. If you have any questions about this, feel free to e-mail me directly at the address below.
Mark your calendars NOW for the grand events of the year for pulp collect ors; the WINDY CITY PULP PAPER CONVENTION, April 23-25, 2010 in Chicago http://www.windycitypulpandpaper.com/ . And because one great pulp convention a year isn't enough, be sure to attend the next PULPFEST to be held in Columbus, Ohio July 30-August 1, 2010! Want more information? Visit the convention website at http://www.pulpfest.com/ and check for updates on both these fine conventions in the PulpMags message list.
